Ski guide cross-country skiing | Sjusjøen | Lillehammer | Nordseter

Why Skiguide?

A private ski guide is a locally known and experienced skier. Our area is huge and it is not possible to get around everywhere on a single holiday. A ski guide can tell you which areas are nice to explore in relation to ski level and ambitions. A local ski guide often has a lot of funny stories to tell. A ski guide can suggest trips for you in the fantastic large network of cross-country trails we have around Lillehammer, Nordseter, Sjusjøen.

Maybe you are only in the area for a single day and want to get the most out of it without having to plan too much yourself, then choose a ski guide!

At Active in Nature, we have made it easy to book your personal ski guide for 3 or 6 hours. You do everything online in our booking no later than 8 pm the night before.

Planning the route

  1. Guided ski trip is planned according to weather and conditions
  2. It is solely the guide's decision based on the group's age, driving conditions and weather forecast, but wishes are considered.

How far do you go?

A 3 hour trip will usually stretch 10-15 km depending on the participants' ski level.
A 6 hour trip will usually include a lunch stop of between 30-45 min and stretch 20-35 km depending on the participants' skiing level. The guide will arrange breaks with the group.

What times can you choose?

A 3-hour guided tour starts at 9 am or 1 pm. You can book on any day of the week.
A 6 hour guided tour starts at 9am. You can book on any day of the week.

Bad weather, so what?

  1. If the guide considers that there is too great a risk when carrying out. the trip may be moved to another day.
  2. If this is not possible, the tour will be cancelled and the amount refunded.

How much does a ski guide cost?

A ski guide costs a basic amount for 3 or 6 hours respectively and then there is a supplement per participant. A guide can have a maximum of 7 participants on the tour.

You have to make sure of this!

  1. It is a prerequisite that you can go cross-country skiing, you do not have to be a pro, but you must know the technique and master downhills.
  2. This is not a ski instructor, but a guide who will take you on a trip!
  3. You must have sensible ski equipment that is prepared (possibly ski wax) Feel free to ask for advice in our ski rental!
  4. You must wear sensible clothes adapted to activity, weather and conditions!
