The Family KIRK came to Nordseter in 1975. The first years they woorked as skiinstructors.

The family KIRK left Denmark to manage a fruitgarden at Nes in Rinsaker. The owners of the fruitgarden managed in that time also the Aktivitycenter at Nordseter. Kirk bought the Aktivitycenter in 1992.

Since the beginning in 1985 with the Egil Paulsen, the development of Nordseter has been gradually. Today Nordseter Hyttegrend owns 26 cabins with 250 beds.

Nordseter Hyttegrend and Nordseter Aktivitycenter stays in the family. Anders & Cathrine Friis moved from Cobenhagen in Denmark to Nordseter in 2004 - together with their dog Schubert.

The Family KIRK and FRIIS are involved in the development of the old Nevelfjell Turisthotell at Nordseter. The old hotel will be build into apartements and service facilities. This is part of the development of the new generation at Nordseter.
